Credit and Refund Policy
Effective and last updated: August 23, 2026
DepthCarve separates automatic technical-failure credit returns from payment refunds. The free preview is the acceptance step for image suitability; the rules below cover provider failure, mistakes, duplicates, packs, and subscriptions.
Automatic credit returns for technical failure
When a paid external model job reports failed or canceled, DepthCarve writes a uniquely referenced credit return automatically. The same retry or callback cannot create duplicate refunds. The returned credits appear in the account balance after the database update.
A completed model estimate that is visually unsuitable is not a technical provider failure. Use the free source check, editing controls, 2D comparison, 3D preview, and manufacturing report before approving a production job. Contact us when the ledger and visible provider status disagree.
One-time credit packs
You may request a refund for an accidentally purchased one-time pack within seven days if none of its credits have been used. If credits from the pack were used, transferred through a disputed payment, or mixed with fulfilled output, the pack is normally not refundable except where consumer law requires otherwise.
Duplicate charges and confirmed billing errors are reviewed regardless of credit use. Include the account email, approximate time, SKU, and order reference. Never send a complete card number or payment credential.
Subscriptions
Canceling a subscription stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund the current paid period. You may request review of an accidental renewal within seven days when no credits from that renewal have been used. Trial, promotional, and consumer-law rights are honored where applicable.
A cancellation or refund can change the related entitlement and API access. Download temporary provider files and rotate any workflow that depends on a plan before access ends.
How to request review
Email contact@depthcarve.com or select Billing or credits on the contact form. Provide the account email, SKU, order reference, purchase date, and a concise explanation. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days; bank or provider settlement can take longer.
Approved refunds return through the original payment route when available. DepthCarve does not ask for a card password, one-time bank code, API key, or remote access to issue a refund.
